Energy Understanding + Flow

Contemplative Practices to Serve Your Highest Life

Aynsley Forsythe

Aynsley’s mission is to live and embody the practices she teaches. From her early morning breathwork and flow rituals to the compassionate way she cares for patients as a nurse, she walks the path of a yogi—on and off the mat. Working at a world-renowned teaching hospital in Boston, Aynsley has witnessed the power of traditional Western medicine. At the same time, she is a devoted student and practitioner of holistic healing, blending breathwork, Reiki, meditation, and yoga to support the body’s natural ability to restore and renew. “It’s the space between the breaths where I found everything I was always looking for,” says Aynsley. “It’s in those spaces where I hope to help my students restore the body’s natural energy flows which can be blocked from trauma, stress or disease. The space between the breaths are the portals to our highest selves.”

  • Yoga

Aynsley is a certified teacher in Kundalini, Vinyasa, and Yin yoga, offering in-person classes, virtual sessions, and immersive workshops and retreats. Her classes are deeply intuitive and ever-evolving — no two are alike — designed to support energetic balance, emotional release, and spiritual connection. Each class is born from Aynsley’s own meditation and movement practice, where she listens deeply to what is summoned through her inner work. That same presence and intentionality shape what she shares with her students. The spaces she holds attract a diverse, welcoming community — drawn to her open-hearted, spiritual, and often playful approach to traditionally complex practices.

  • Reiki Certification

Aynsley’s journey with Reiki began the first time she received energy healing herself — a transformative experience that she felt compelled to bring into her work as a nurse in one of Boston’s busiest hospitals. Now a certified Reiki Master, Aynsley offers certification workshops for both beginners and advanced practitioners. She is the founder of the Reiki Team at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), where energy healing is offered to both patients and staff, supporting physical recovery and emotional resilience across all levels of care. Aynsley’s Reiki trainings are held several times a year and provide a grounded, accessible, and spiritually rich foundation for those seeking to learn or deepen their practice. In addition to certifications, she leads ongoing Reiki shares, community circles, and refresher courses for continued connection and growth.

  • Reiki Services

Reiki with Aynsley is a restorative experience — a chance to quiet the body, clear the mind, and activate the energetic flow within. Aynsley offers 30- and 60-minute Reiki sessions that begin with a brief conversation and include a personalized “energy reading”: an intuitive assessment of the client’s energetic patterns and any areas of tension or stagnation. Each session ends with gentle, grounded guidance to support balance and continued integration. As both a Reiki Master and a practicing nurse, Aynsley brings a rare and trusted blend of clinical knowledge and intuitive insight. Her sessions are deeply supportive — whether you're navigating stress, illness, emotional fatigue, or simply seeking clarity and calm. Reiki sessions are available virtually or in the comfort of your home. All are welcome — no prior experience or spiritual background required.

  • Meditation and Breath Work

Aynsley’s journey into meditation began when she became a new mother, seeking stillness in the midst of shifting roles. Over a decade later, it remains her daily sanctuary — a grounding practice that helps her meet the demands of modern life with more clarity, compassion, and breath. She continues to deepen her own practice through workshops and retreats, and she periodically offers guided breathwork sessions before her yoga classes — described by one student as “a magic carpet ride.” Aynsley offers breathwork and meditation classes in-studio and at workshops, where she creates a gentle, accessible space for students to reconnect with themselves and their inner calm.

Testimonials

“Breathwork, mudras, mantras, and asanas can be intense and uncomfortable yet Aynsley gently guides us through the journey. She intuitively knows when to encourage and push and when to rest. I have learned so much from her and every time I practice with her a new layer of myself is revealed. Her ability to share her gifts with our community is such a blessing.”

“My first reiki session with Aynsley was like nothing I had ever experienced. She saw me, she understood me, and she could see things about my ancestors that no one could have known.”

— Sally P.

After teaching yoga for 25 years and exploring countless styles and teachers, I never truly connected with Kundalini until I practiced with Aynsley. Her approach is something special, rooted in deep personal practice and offered with openness, honesty, humor, and most importantly authenticity. She teaches not from a pedestal, but as a devoted student of the practice herself. I always leave feeling like something has shifted - energy has moved, my body and spirit feel more grounded, and the experience resonates log after. I feel deeply grateful to have Aynsley as a teacher.”
